Antoinette is a registered Traumatologist specialising in Child Traumatology and EMDR Child Therapy. With a Ph.D. completed in 2012, she has conducted extensive research on the traumatic impact of divorce and growing up in fractured families. As the Western Cape Licencee of “The Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Program,” Antoinette trains and empowers those working with children to handle disclosures of abuse appropriately. She founded the Kardia Research, Therapy, and Training Institute and co-founded HEARTS FOR JUSTICE, advocating for underprivileged children in need. Internationally accredited in EMDR, she provides effective trauma therapy.
